Somerset flats might be that, but Poldark‘s scythe would have come in handy along wilder segments of the canal path. Richard, being a tougher-than-thou type was in padded shorts and bore the brunt of the triffids. Susanna, on-trendier, and wearing padded capris was only nipped around the ankles. While Suzanne, expecting another fall, had sensibly strapped a few mattresses around herself and for once emerged unscathed.

Today’s lessons

  1. All roads lead to Glastonbury

  2. Susanna’s mobile thinks East is West and North is South

  3. Super saturation is real

  4. Luxury is a heated towel rail

  5. Just because you can see light at the end of the tunnel, doesn’t mean you can see a darn thing in it

Haven’t worked out how to get a message through. This old bird is not used to modern technology. Still hope the mattress worked and that you are safely through the Triffids. Keep smiling Lindyx

What's with the pig?

Simon loved pigs and Puppet Pig, a furry glove puppet, was a particular friend. I hid him in unexpected places - drawers, Simon's satchel, under pillows - for the joy of hearing Simon say Eeeeee, Puppet Pig, what are you doing here?

Leaving Puppet Pig at home was not an option.
